Die! Die! Die! in Philly
Just over a week after catching the band at SxSW ’08, the New Zealand trio known as Die! Die! Die! played in Philly at the notorious NorthStar Bar. They played a phenomenal 30 minute gig to about 15 people at the infamous NorthStar Bar (the same place where the band had played to a sold out house, opening for Wolfmother several years ago). While the turnout was slightly more than disappointing, I tried to show the band how appreciative we were that they even bothered to stop in our pithy town. Jager shots flowed, multiple CD’s were bought, and fun just a shitload of fun was had by all. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to get my ‘good’ camera for the gig, and had to shoot everything with the the crappy one. Still, some of the shots are goddamn cool.
